Hardly any country heaps so much praise on the delights of summer as we do. The sheer number of summer songs on both sides of the Swedish- Norwegian border is overwhelming when we start to browse through songbooks, not to mention the favourites we remember. Many years ago KKV released a durable record that has proven to be just the ticket for those summer moods you love in summer (and winter!), with 16 songs praising summer flowers, sunny days and the perfect scent of summer. Last year the first track on the record was used by the NRK show "Sommerent" (Summer Open), and we have had an unbelievable amount of feedback that this is THE soundtrack for a holiday on the coast, in the forest or in the mountains, especially here in Norway. This year we are re-launching the record with a new cover and the hope that many more people will have the chance to enjoy this cornucopia of a record. Songs on the record include Bllokkevikua (Bluebell week), Hovedn (Hovedn), Sjalavals (Sjala waltz), Sommernatt ved fjorden (Summer night on the fjord), Sseile vi pMja (Sailing on the Mja), glamark (Angel fields) and Det g en vind (Blowing wind) , giving you the joy of summer and the perfect sunny mood you want. Arrangements are by all three musicians: Arild Andersen on double bass, Stian Carstensen on accordion (plus banjo on "Meskjsvalsen" (Gull reef waltz)), and Frode Aln on guitar. The technician was Jan Erik Kongshaug, who also plays rhythm guitar on "I Roslagens famn pden blommande (Roslagen embrace).
